The Client

AnyBoard stands as a smart device provider in Indonesia, offering an all-in-one whiteboard that puts everything — projector, processor, speaker, storage, memory, visualizer and more — inside one simple, stylish enclosure.

Challenge

In a case study of this digital product, we need to create a phase-2 Whiteboarding design and annotation tool on unique hardware and software functions that have been previously established without changing many interactions in the existing system that has been established.

Our Solution

We want to make AnyNote a learning tool that helps and facilitates learning and teaching activities in school.

So it requires a good user experience and an interface that is easy to read for teachers and students. Moreover, they also use special devices that can only use certain software.

Designer’s Words

Working directly with the mastermind on this project was an invaluable experience. Executing a program that was not only conceptually new to me but also involved a proprietary device required an extra layer of hands-on validation. Live design sessions, periodic previews, and thorough internal testing were essential to delivering a product that surpasses existing solutions widely used in accredited schools.

The Challenges

Creating the UI for "AnyNote" presents several unique challenges due to its exclusive compatibility with AnyBoard devices. This necessitates thorough testing to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance across all supported devices.

The platform's reliance on AnyBoard also introduces challenges related to the screen resolutions of these devices. Designers must carefully adjust component sizes and layouts to ensure clarity and functionality, particularly on devices with smaller screens. This involves optimizing UI elements to maintain usability and readability without compromising the user experience.
