The Client
Agridence is a technology provider that provides bespoke solutions for all agri-business needs. We enable the agri-commodity industry to make sustainable procurement and traceability a reality. By integrating traceability and sustainability into the procurement process, we will enable companies to gain visibility over their supply chains and identify sustainability risks.
Challenge
Agridence itself already has a farmer application that is already running, but they want to improve the functionality in the application and the features in the application with keywords because this farmer will use the application as a tool to help them with their work, so this application needs to be easy to use and easy to understand for the farmer.
Our Solution
The problem may be in their fairly fast development time so they need to work on it quickly too, in terms of design itself they want to keep it simple and refer to Google Material UI so they can't explore or minimize it too much for customization.
The solution is to create an application that improves the previous one in terms of simplified functionality for the convenience of users in carrying out their work such as mapping the plantations they have and making transactions to fellow users, factories, or agents but still following the Google Material UI guidelines.
Designer’s Words
This project was quite interesting as I was challenged to create an application that is user-friendly, easy to understand, and closely follows Material UI, as per the client's request. What I really liked about this project was that I was able to learn more about farmers and improve my skills in Figma, particularly in using tokens to assist the developers.
